Each LEAGUE event may schedule divisions differently. Traditional kata, weapon kata, open or musical kata, continuous sparring, and first-timer divisions commonly begin promptly at 8:30am.
Door registration is available until 10:30am on event day. After 10:30am, at-the-door registration closes.
If you pre-registered, you may arrive any time, but plan to be there at least one hour before your division starts. Same-day registration is subject to higher at-the-door fees.
Start by picking up your competitor bands.
If you pre-registered, go to the pre-registration line. Give the LEAGUE staff member your last name so they can retrieve your competitor bands and any spectator bands you purchased.
If you need to buy spectator bands at the event, or add more bands, use the at-the-door registration line.
If you are registering at the door, complete a registration form first, including competitor information, divisions, and waiver signature. Once your paperwork is complete, get in line to finish registration.
Please allow time for lines and delays. If you are in one of the first divisions, arrive at least one hour early.
There is no exact time guarantee for any specific division, but ring assignments help estimate when a division will run.
Ring assignments may be available to download from the event page before the tournament. They are also usually available at front registration on event day.
Each division is assigned to a ring, and divisions are run in the order listed on the ring assignments.
A division will not be held while a competitor finishes a form or event in another ring.
If your divisions are called at the same time in different rings, it is your responsibility to have your uniform, weapons, and other equipment ready.
Competitors have two minutes to report after being called by the ring coordinator. Competitors who do not report in time may be disqualified from that division. No refunds are given.
Grand Champion divisions are held at LEAGUE tournaments. Grand Champion runoffs are run as each age level and bracket finishes.
Competitors earn an additional 20 divisional points when they win an Overall Grand Champion Award at a conference event.
